Greenlab Diamonds LLP receives the prestigious India Gem & Jewellery Award.

At the 49th Edition of the India Gem & Jewellery Awards , Mr. Mukesh Patel, Chairman of Greenlab Diamonds, received the Special Recognition Award for his company’s significant contribution to the lab-grown diamond industry in India. The awards, which are presented by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), honour remarkable accomplishments by top exporters, importers, and banks that provide trade financing. At a ceremony conducted on April 23, 2023, at The Hotel Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, the Honourable Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs Food & Public Distribution & Textiles, Shri Piyush Goyal, awarded the award to Mr. Vipul Patel, Director of Greenlab Diamonds.

The honour recognises the organization’s dedication to development, excellence in exports, marketing efforts, innovation, R&D, ethics, values, and social responsibility. Greenlab Diamonds dedicated the honour to the zeal, dedication, and toil of each and every one of its workers.

The organization’s management team has been actively promoting the sector at many levels. One example is Mr. Mukesh Patel, Chairman of Greenlab Diamonds, who visited the PM office and discussed the prospects of the burgeoning lab-grown diamond sector. Mr. Patel provided the Ministry of Finance with a financial sector analysis report, which resulted in SBI providing money to lab-grown diamond equipment. He also emphasised the need of R&D for achieving technological independence and reducing reliance on imports.

The Director of Greenlab Diamonds, Mr. Smit Patel, approached the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to inform them of the extent of sustainable employment opportunities as well as the export potential of lab-grown diamonds. His discussions with Minister Piyush Goyal aided the industry’s emergence as a “Make in India” policy contributor.

Sanket Patel, a partner of Greenlab Diamonds, has organised and taken part in aggressive trade events across the globe. By educating consumers about man-made stones and their distinctiveness through these trade events, the sector has become more reliable.
