“I’m sure each of you is excited to start a new chapter in your life,” Shri Bhansali remarked in his remarks. You are entering the workforce at a good moment because the sector is expanding quickly, largely due to government backing.

“The Government is committed to helping the industry through trade-friendly measures because it appreciates the industry’s importance to exports and jobs. Exports of gems and jewellery from the nation are anticipated to increase further with the conclusion of Free Trade Agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Australia.

The business sector is undergoing a revolution. Gem Bourse in Jaipur, Jewellery Park in Mumbai, and Common Facility Centres will be established by GJEPC in addition to significant gem and jewellery clusters around India. This industry provides enormous prospects, and you are the ones who will propel it ahead in the future.

After an extended absence of more than four years caused by Covid, the IIGJ award ceremony was held in Jaipur.
